Kivu Tilapia Farm operates a fully integrated tilapia production facility on the shores of Lake Kivu, taking advantage of optimal water conditions to raise high-quality fish at scale. Since its founding, Kivu has been cash-flow positive and employs over 90 full-time staff and dozens of seasonal workers from nearby rural communities.

By vertically integrating hatcheries, grow-out cages, and processing lines, Kivu ensures consistent supply to domestic and regional markets. The company also invests in community development, building roads to remote villages, offering English-language classes to employees, and creating sustainable earning opportunities for local fishers.
