Long Miles Coffee (Burundi, Uganda, Kenya)

Long Miles Coffee produces specialty coffee through direct partnerships with smallholder farmers. Founded in 2013 with a single washing station in Burundi, the company now operates across three countries with 98 full-time employees and more than 7,700 partner farmers and local suppliers. Washing stations in remote growing areas, hands-on agricultural training, and premium prices raise both coffee quality and farmer incomes.

The impact runs well past the harvest. Coffee Kids Camp served over 12,500 children in 2025, the company has distributed more than 31,000 school books to farming communities, and 35,000 trees have been planted in reforestation efforts across its growing regions.
