Desiree brings over 18 years of professional experience and a heart for service to Talanton. Her career journey began in corporate sales before transitioning to supporting senior executives in small and fast-growing organizations, where she mastered intricate travel arrangements, marketing campaigns, seamless meeting coordination, project execution, and financial precision.
As the founder and Program and Development Director for Moms on a Mission, a local nonprofit, Desiree has honed her marketing expertise by leading strategic initiatives that significantly increased community engagement and volunteer participation. She excels in developing comprehensive marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, and analyzing metrics to optimize performance.
Her unique combination of corporate experience, nonprofit leadership, and international perspective positions her to effectively communicate Talanton's mission to diverse stakeholder groups.
Desiree holds a B.S. from UNLV.
Personal
Desiree’s faith journey began in her late 20s while volunteering extensively in South America, where she met and married a Tongan Australian.
A mother of four, she now resides in Brisbane, Australia, and spends weekends cheering from the soccer sidelines. Having lived and traveled across five continents, her global experiences have enriched her perspective and bring valuable international insight to her work.
