The impact

Steady work, two cows, and a family cared for

David, a deaf production staff member, joined Masaka Farms on October 12, 2024. In a short time, his life has changed in meaningful and tangible ways. Steady employment has allowed him to care for his family, pay for their medical needs, and cover his rent. Owning two cows is a milestone that fills him with pride.

One of the most impactful parts of David’s story is his ability to care for his mother. When she falls sick, David uses his salary to pay for her hospital bills and medication. Being able to support her is a blessing he treasures deeply.

David is grateful for Masaka Farms’ leadership and the culture of Turikumwe (togetherness), respect, and teamwork that defines the company. His story shows how meaningful employment can restore hope, empower families, and bring stability that transforms lives.
