Samuel Mwamburi Mwale is an economist, policy advisor, and business leader whose distinguished career spans both public and private sectors. He has held top leadership positions within the Kenyan government and served in executive and non-executive board roles across the financial services and business sectors.

Currently, Sam serves as a non-executive board director at Equity Group bank and holds board positions in insurance, food processing, and logistics firms. He recently completed a term as interim President & CEO at GiveDirectly Inc, a US-based NGO operating across the US, Africa, and Asia. As a trustee and honorary U.S. representative for Kenya's apex business organization, the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), he continues to influence business policy at the highest levels.
