Career

Jeff serves as President and CEO of Baillie Lumber Co., a manufacturer, wholesaler, and distributor of hardwood lumber and flooring. A graduate of Wheaton College (1982) and Harvard Law School (1985), Jeff began his career practicing law at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago from 1985 to 1990 before joining Baillie Lumber, where he has worked in various capacities for over three decades.

His extensive board service demonstrates commitment to both business excellence and social impact, including positions with Wheaton College, Opportunity International, Cabrini-Green Legal Aid Clinic, the Nichols School (Board Chair 2017-2020), Talanton, National Hardwood Lumber Association, Hardwood Manufacturers Association, Buffalo AKG Art Museum, and his local church. Jeff also currently serves on the Board of Merchants Mutual Insurance Company.
