Fly into Nairobi any time on Saturday, 27th February. We don’t recommend a particular carrier; all seem quite reliable. Some people prefer to go via Europe than the Middle Eastern hubs. The airport is 15 minutes from the hotel, we will arrange a transfer car for you.
We’ll book rooms at the five-star hotel, Emara Ole-Sereni. There is no need to pay a deposit, you will simply settle the bill for your room upon check out.
Of course! Just indicate if you’d like one or two beds in your room. Single occupancy is around $220 per room per night, double occupancy is around $260 per room per night.
Comfortable clothing, including jeans, is suitable for daytime activities. Keep in mind it might be chilly in the mornings and evenings; bringing warm layers is advisable. For our closing dinner on the Wednesday evening some attendees opt for smart casual attire, but no set dress code will be in place. Please wear closed-toe shoes for our site visits as we’ll be walking through factories. We will also spend some time outside on the Tuesday so a hat might come in handy. Please check the forecast before packing, Kenya’s weather in March can vary.
Yes indeed. Feel free to travel in Africa before or after the trip. Our first group meeting is over breakfast on Sunday 28th February and we will finish our time together mid afternoon on Thursday 4th March.
